Dr. Kelly Price Noble, MAOM, is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse background in healthcare, education, and diversity initiatives. She served as the Chair for the College of Health Professions at the University of Phoenix before coming to U.S.VETS as the National Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Manager.
She worked in the VA San Diego Healthcare System’s Spinal Cord Injury Center as the Executive Director of Cal-Diego Paralyzed Veterans Association (PVA) and the National President of the PVA Chapter Executive Directors, then worked with the National Veterans Transition Services, Inc. For seven years, she accompanied the Paralyzed Veterans, testifying in front of the Joint Hearing Committee on Veterans’ Benefits.
As Clinical Researcher at the VA San Diego Healthcare System's Spinal Cord Injury Center, Price Noble worked alongside service connected and non-service-connected veterans with spinal cord dysfunctions. She recognized this group of veterans needing care but were often overlooked and not well-treated for their injuries. She became the voice for many, speaking out for those with non-service-connected injuries to provide treatment and justice to those who needed medical care most.

Caregiving can be incredibly rewarding, but it also comes with challenges. Many caregivers face emotional and physical exhaustion because of the demanding nature of their responsibilities, often leading to burnout. Financial strain is another common issue, as the costs associated with caregiving, such as medical expenses and reduced work hours, can create significant financial pressure. Additionally, caregivers often experience isolation and a lack of support because their demanding schedules leave little time for social interactions. This isolation can be emotionally challenging and make finding support difficult. If you' are facing any of these challenges, remember you are not alone. Resources and support networks available to help you navigate these difficulties.
